m3 contains 100% organic fruiting body extracts of lion’s mane, cordyceps, and tremella, combined with cacao, maca root, mesquite, organic coconut milk powder, and a small amount of organic coconut palm sugar.
Fruiting body is the mushroom itself. Mycelium is the root-like network the fungus grows from, and is often cultivated on grain. Many mycelium-on-grain products contain significant amounts of starch from the grain. We use 100% organic fruiting body extracts — no mycelium, no grain, no filler.
Beta-(1,3)(1,6)-glucans are naturally occurring compounds found in mushrooms. They’re one of the primary bioactive compounds studied in functional mushrooms. Each serving of m3 contains a minimum of 480mg of beta-(1,3)(1,6)-glucans.
No. Mushrooms contain multiple naturally occurring compounds beyond beta-glucans, including species-specific constituents such as hericenones and erinacines found in lion’s mane, and cordycepin found in cordyceps. Beta-glucans are an important marker, but they are not the only compounds that contribute to the functional profile of a mushroom.
